Approaching the end of our third full calendar year and over 3.5 years since we opened our Glasgow office, so felt it was a good time to provide an update or two in what has been a busy and exciting year for Gravitate HR.

My first week at
Gravitate HR has went by in a flash but I already feel part of the team. I am
beginning to get to grips with all the great things Gravitate HR do with their
clients and I am really enjoying learning about what we can do for them.
been a manager in retail, I began my HR career in 2014 when I completed my
Masters degree in Human Resource Management. I went on to work for an
outsourcing company as a People Advisor and became a Senior HR Advisor. I then
moved to a role as an Employment Law Advisor in 2017 before joining the team at
Gravitate HR. I am very keen on continuing my HR career and was delighted when
Margery chose me to work with the team.
I have had a great
first week and could not ask for a better team to work with. They have made me
feel very welcome and I am already working with some of our clients and

I can’t believe that my first week at Gravitate HR is already over.
As is normal for anyone starting a new job, first day nerves set in the evening before starting my new position. The anticipation of joining a new team is a daunting but exciting prospect. However, my nerves were quickly alleviated as I was relieved by how welcoming the team was. The mention of ample tea and chocolate made me feel right at home. Not only a new job but a new city to explore. Moving to Edinburgh has been a stressful process at times, but I have already fallen in love with the city.
