With the start of a new year, it got me thinking about setting new goals for myself and in doing so I was reminded of one of the 6 values here at Gravitate HR – Ambition.
Being ambitious not only helps us to stay sharp, set goals, focus on continuous improvement and work to the high standard we are known for, it also ensures that we provide the very best service to our clients, which is something that all of us at Gravitate HR stive for.
For me, ambition has been a big driver over the last 2 years during the pandemic. My ambition has provided me with a strong sense of purpose and during such unprecedented times, it has kept me focused and allowed me to go bigger and bolder with my goals.
Working with such an impressive group of individuals who all strive for excellence and are also ambitious has had a knock-on effect on myself with wanting to really push and challenge myself to be the best HR professional I can be.
For me, all the Gravitate HR values are somewhat interconnected. Since joining Gravitate, I have felt nothing but encouragement to achieve my goals and achieve excellence. I also believe that some of our other core values such as excellence tie into this too, as at Gravitate HR our ambition to achieve excellence is at the centre of what we do and is what makes us stand out from the rest.
