Senior Lead HR Consultant, Gravitate HR
Salary circa £45,000 per annum
Gravitate HR is an independent outsourced HR Consultancy with offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow and a client base spread predominately (but not exclusively) across central Scotland. We work as one team each with our own portfolio of clients who engage with us on a retained and on a project basis so our work is varied, relationship based and often dealing with topical, sensitive and challenging issues.
An opportunity has arisen within the business for a Lead HR Consultant to join the team and take a senior role in the business. In addition to a dedicated portfolio of clients and accounts, the expectation would be that you would play a mentoring and coaching role with the consultant team to assist in developing HR practice and client delivery and to support our business development activities with existing and new clients.
We work hybrid, attending our offices twice a week, being on site with clients and working remotely connecting with the team and clients through TEAMs, emails and other channels. Ideally, we would like this role to be present in the Glasgow office and to be a lead point of contact for clients towards the west of the M8.
You will have:
- Experience of delivering HR in a consultancy environment and be comfortable with the commercial relationships that underpin this kind of work
- Some line management or mentoring role with professional colleagues
- Good interpersonal skills that allow you naturally to build effective relationships
- Contemporary HR knowledge and practice
- Enjoy working in a team environment.
- Practical, pragmatic and personable
